Crispy Cheesestraws - A time honored tradition of the South but
with a twist. Muddbug's cheesestraws are a blend of butter and
cheddar cheese with chiptole spices and folded and handed rolled to
provide a light and crisp pastry with a little kick. A favorite party snack
or sit on the porch with a cold beverage treat.
Granola - Not your average health nut snack. Our Granola is made
with rolled oats, dates, cranberries, walnuts, almonds, and cashews.
With just enough sweet and saltly favor to keep you wanting more.
There is no added oil, butter, or preservates. The Granola is usually
made the day of order, and is always fresh. Even a Certified Executive
Chef told me she thought my Granola was better than her (California
native) mother's. When a Bama girl can out do a nature girl from
California you can bet this is some good Granola.
Gumbo - A Gulf Coast style Gumbo with a hand stirred roux the
color of pecans, chicken, Conecuh sausage (made in Conecuh County,
Alabama) homemade chicken stock, not that stuff from a can or jar,
and the right blend of seasoning, making it not to hot but not to mild.
In true New Orleans fashion I add okra and tomatoes, because as you
know it ain't gumbo unless there is okra.
