About Our Business
Muddbug's Gourmet Foods was created based on
demand for certain gifts I would create for gifts. I
was repeatedly told by friends and family I should
market these items and I finally took their advice. I
hope you enjoy these products as much as my family.
The name was derived from my last name which is
Mudd and the first item I started to sell which was
gumbo. I was raised in South Alabama and alot of
"mudbugs" or crawfish are a favorite boil for that area,
so I though hey why not name my company after this
creole favorite but spell the name with two d's. And
that is how Muddbug's got started.
